Penlee Judo Club

Club History

Penlee Judo Club was founded by Geoff Bold sometime in the early '70's in Mousehole, then moved to the scout hall in Newlyn in 1976. Since 1980 Kathy King has been club leader, in 1982 the club moved to Alverton School in Penzance, then in 1986 the club moved to its current home at Humphry Davy School.

In the last 30 years the club has produced many national champions and more importantly has enabled thousands of people of all ages to enjoy judo.
